Save Our Shrimpers Act

This bill says the U.S. Treasury Department must tell American leaders at international financial organizations, like the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, to vote against giving money to projects in other countries that involve shrimp farming, shrimp processing, or shrimp exports. The Treasury Department can skip this rule for a specific project if it tells Congress that doing so is in the national interest of the United States. This rule would last for seven years after the bill becomes law.
