Declaration of Independence Reaffirmation Act of 2026

This bill officially restates and re-adopts the Declaration of Independence as one of the foundational laws of the United States. It recognizes the Declaration as the lasting basis for American independence, the country's right to govern itself, natural rights, equal citizenship, and the idea that government should be based on the consent of the people. Organic laws are the laws that form the original foundation of a government.
