Voice for Farm Workers Act

This bill renews and expands the role of the Farmworker Coordinator at the Department of Agriculture, keeping the position active through 2031. The coordinator's job is to identify problems farmworkers face and work with government programs to help address their needs. The bill adds new duties, such as creating a plan for outreach to farmworkers, sharing information with employers about federal programs their workers might qualify for, working with colleges and schools, and consulting with nonprofit organizations on things like job training. The coordinator is also directed to hire the staff needed to carry out these activities.
