DRIVE Act of 2025

This bill raises the amount of money veterans get paid back for driving their own cars to VA facilities for things like treatment, care, counseling, or exams. The new rate would be at least as much as what government employees get paid when they use their own vehicles for work travel. The bill also requires the VA to pay veterans back within 90 days after they submit their travel reimbursement request.
