Protecting Life and Integrity in Research Act of 2025

This bill stops federal agencies from doing or paying for any research that uses human fetal tissue if that tissue came from an induced abortion. Research using fetal tissue from a miscarriage or stillbirth would still be allowed. The bill also makes it a crime for any person or organization to ask for, collect, or accept donated fetal tissue if they know it came from an induced abortion, though there is an exception if the tissue is being transferred for an autopsy or burial.
