A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "Emissions Budget and Allowance Allocations for Indiana Under the Revised Cross-State Air Pollution Rule Update".

This joint resolution would cancel an Environmental Protection Agency rule published on May 20, 2025, that deals with air pollution crossing state lines. That rule increased the amount of nitrogen oxides — a type of air pollution — that power plants in Indiana are allowed to release during the months of May through September, starting in 2024 and going forward. If this resolution passes, that rule would no longer be in effect.
