VARIANCE Act

This bill would let commercial trucks carrying dry bulk goods, like grain or powdered materials, drive on the Interstate Highway System while carrying up to 10% more weight on any axle or set of axles than what is currently allowed. The bill is called the VARIANCE Act, which stands for Vehicle Axle Redistribution Increases Allow New Capacities for Efficiency Act.
