SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Reauthorization Act of 2025

It continues funding through 2030 for programs that help groups like pregnant women, young people, and children dealing with substance use or psychological trauma, and it supports things like recovery housing, job services, and loan repayment for health care workers who treat addiction. The bill also makes changes such as helping first responders get tools to treat non-opioid overdoses, adding transportation help for people in recovery seeking jobs, and protecting the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline from cybersecurity threats. It also creates a new government work group focused on fentanyl contamination in illegal drugs and requires a review of how certain addiction treatment medications are classified.
