Election Worker Protection Act of 2025

This bill creates new legal protections for people who work in elections. It makes it a crime to threaten, intimidate, or harass election workers to interfere with their jobs or get back at them, and it makes it illegal to publicly share personal information about election officials, poll workers, or election volunteers connected to a federal election. The bill also lets election officials remove poll observers who are disrupting the running of an election. In addition, it sets up grant programs to help states recruit and train poll workers, pay for security for election workers, and prevent their personal information from being released, and it requires the Department of Justice to train law enforcement on how to handle threats against election workers.
